The long time dynamic duo of Roberta DePiero and Peter Arnow are delighted to announce that Diane May of Key West has joined their Key West Playbills team. DePiero, who is also founder of the companion company Cocograms Enterprises, launched Key West Playbills in 2006 and today the business produces playbills and special event programs for more than a dozen Florida Keys clients, including Red Barn Theatre, Tennessee Williams Theater, Waterfront Playhouse, Fringe Theater, Marathon Community Theater, Key West Business Guild, the Anne McKee Artists Fund of the Florida Keys, Key West Film Festival, and Nutcracker Key West.
DePiero, Arnow, and May are all Key West-based and deeply involved in the business, philanthropic, and creative communities. DePiero, who has lived in Key West since 1991, is also a photographer and has served on the boards of numerous community organizations. Arnow arrived in Key West in 1992, bringing with him years of broadcast industry experience. He also works as a photographer and has been running the Key West Business Guild’s Headdress Ball for decades. New Key West Playbills associate May has lived in Key West since 2004, and is an actress who can often be seen on Key West stages. Her fundraising endeavors have benefitted many individuals and organizations and won her a Fantasy Fest reign as Queen, and she is now available to assist clients in placing their ads in Key West Playbills’ theater and special event programs. ![]() Key West, FL — The Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that nominations for the prestigious ATHENA Award are officially open. This annual accolade, rooted in the ATHENA mission of supporting, developing, and honoring women leaders, recognizes outstanding individuals who exemplify excellence in their business or profession, contribute significantly to their community, and pave the way for women in leadership roles. The ATHENA Award, a symbol of empowerment and achievement, is bestowed upon those who go above and beyond to make a difference in their chosen field and work tirelessly to create a more balanced and inclusive landscape for leadership on a global scale. This award not only acknowledges personal and professional accomplishments but also highlights the crucial role these leaders play in inspiring women to reach their full potential. To qualify for consideration as an ATHENA Award recipient, nominees must demonstrate excellence, provide community service, hold a leadership role, demonstrate initiative and creativity towards the improvement of their community, and show support for the goals of professional women. Nominations for the ATHENA Award are open until October 23, 2023. Nominators are encouraged to complete the Nomination Form, which will be used for the selection process. Self-nominations are also welcome. Please refrain from including additional supporting documents, as the award will primarily be judged based on the nominees' contributions to their business, profession, and community. Applications for the ATHENA Award must be submitted to the Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce using the provided Nomination Form.
